    Hi to all, could you ply the rug ? So we could identify the knots , front and back, . What kind of wefts are used ? what kind of warps are used ? ( Material.) Is the wool handspun ?
    It would certainly help to identify your rug. Just looking at the rug from these pics. i ll join Steve with it s " age " ( on other grounds as it s patterns. ) late 50 s. early 25 s.

      Hello Egbert, I have some more photos but I‘am a bloody amateur. Left/right/wefts….not so easy for me. Perhaps you can see something on the new photos.
      The colours appear really hard, garish and artificial. But in reality the yellow appears more like safran or kurkuma yellow.
