Here is a small piece I received a few years ago and put it away until today. It was a gift included with a tent band I bought.
To be honest, I have no idea of the age nor attribution. The colors are all made from wool although I believe the beige/white stitch looking design is cotton. The colors remind me of a Kurdish design which include yellow, orange, teal/blue, brown blue and indigo blue.
The piece measures 12 inches across or 30.5 cm. It has been obviously cut down from a larger piece and the only thing that comes to mind is a tent band. The piece is extremely light and floppy.
