  • Buying a knot counter

Some have asked about where to buy a knot counter. Although there are many different types, the one inch version works best for me. You can easily get a KPSI or a KPSD by multiplying your KPSI by 15.5 If you wanted to see a less common count of 1cm sq, you would divide your KPSD by 100.

    Example:
    KPSI: 100
    KPSD: 1550
    1cm sq: 15.5

I cannot post a link but here is one example on Amazon.
