I have most issues of Hali magazine from it’s beginning to around 2014 or so. I really don’t care for the later issues after they changed the design. Anyway, does anyone know of an online search engine to search for topics and then be directed to the issue?
i am still studying DOBAG rugs from Turkey and other than issues 30 and 94, are there more issues on the subject?
Joe, it's some years since I subscribed to Hali as well. But my recollection - which may be mistaken - is that within the on-line library there was a search engine. As far as I recall it was effective - I searched for 'banjara' (as I'm a fan of some Indian embroidery styles) and the results seemed good.
So - I don't know if you know someone who still subscribes and (if my recollection is correct) can do a search for you.
Thank you Chuck. I do have one of his books to include one more on the subject by another author and have yet to acquire the book “Koekboya”. There are only 3 books published on the subject to my knowledge.
