So it has begun…

We came upon a free room in our house and decided to make it the rug room or as my wife knicknamed it, the “moth room”. Kind of has a nice ring to it.

I am starting the process of clearing out the room which is about 160+ sq ft or 15 sq meters. It also has about 36 sq ft (3.5 sq meters) of closet storage space. I will be installing (hard wiring) 17 LED lights in the ceiling which are designed to display art. The room has enough (ish) space to display the pieces and to work on repairs etc.

I expect to be completed in the coming weeks and will update this post with pics.

That is a very impressive display! Although I never met Jim Dixon, I recognize his picture and have read articles about Jim’e throughout the years. Thanks for posting this!

Most certainly. Like many of us, I ran out of wall and floor space.

Fireplace screens have three horizontal rods at the top. And then there are railings if you have indoor balconies.
