A paradox on attribution?

You describe the palette of Manastir kilims as subdued, and your examples surely fit that description.
Browsing through Hull and Luczyc-Wyhowska's Kilim, I noticed that their description is quite different - they use the words "brightly colored" for the Manastir palette. They illustrate two specimens, both of which have palettes quite different than those you use.
Would you comment on the difference between your description and theirs? Would you attribute their two specimens to Manastir, or do you think they have made errors in attribution?
