This Salon was an experiment of sorts and, like most experiments, it had a mixed outcome. Some seemed to have fun with it, others were sufficiently embarassed to wish it would vanish without a trace.

We unearthed a collector-dealer-rapper in our midst. I had kind of hoped that our composer-in-residence, Richard Farber, would provide a libretto for the first Turkotek Light Opera Company repertoire. On the other hand, perhaps light is as inappropriate in a rug opera as it is in a rug museum.

For better or for worse, it's over now. We'll get back to more respectable stuff tomorrow.
