: I concur with Wendel here. The single cotton wefts and cotton warps confirm the origin somewhere in Hamadan and probably well into the 20th century. I do not see anything in this rug which makes me think it is Kurdish although Kurds did weave rugs in the area. Nothing very intriguing or problematic with the attribution here, everything about it says Hamadan to me.

Ok, concurrence looks likely on the attribution. But I hardly dare utter an aesthetic or appreciative judgment here. (dagblagit, I own less interesting rugs ....
How much of a concurrence is there then on the evaluation?
