Some time ago I acquired this piece, being charmed by the animals introduced into the design of the elem (front and rear sides):

Here is the seller's description (in German):

"Jomud AK Tschowal Turkmenien um 1900 Wolle auf Wolle mit Seiden-Highlights sehr feine Knüpfung und sehr guter Zustand. Größe: 122x62cm"

Google translatation:

Do you think the attribution and dating are correct? What do you make of the animals amongst the usual stylized trees in the elem?
