Hi Yohann and Filiberto,

You are pointing, Yohann, at a truly interesting detail in this Berlin Annunciation. This line on the ground is indeed puzzling.
The fact that there are only two alternating patterns, also speaks in favor of tiles in this case. I haven't found yet any better picture of that painting.
