Hi Mishra

I'd welcome an introductory essay on that topic. I don't think we've even touched on it here.

A Salon essay doesn't have to be a scholarly dissertation, just something to start a discussion going. Any takers?

Steve,

I'll take this up if its ok with you. Please let me know what your current schedule for salons looks like. I may be able to pull something together over the holidays, by early January or February. It will be far from a scholarly salon, but simply a way to "get the discussion started". Something very very simple. Like gabbehs.

It's all yours, and I think it will be fun to have running. There's one Salon in the pipeline right now, although I don't have it in hand, and another in a pretty vague state.
